RE/MAX Real Estate Agent Brian Becker

There is a lot of too love and like about the Olympic Peninsula from the rainshadow effect, small town living, scores of beautiful and affordable waterfront homes and a lot more. As a buyers agent I want to share my expertise in real estate to help clients find the right home for them. I have a no-pressure approach but am direct about the values of homes and in some cases I build a photorealistic mockup of what a home will look like with a few changes and if you like what you see I get real quotes on the cost and then advise  you on the financing options that make these changes happen right away. The real estate areas I serve are Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Marrowstone Island, Chimacum, Quilcene and Sequim. Call me at 360-774-6923 and I can help answer your questions, find and show you homes and give you a tour of the area.

The Olympic Peninsula

This video provides a good overview of living on the Olympic Peninsula in a small town community with a rain shadow that makes it sunny but tremendously green here. This area offers more waterfront properties at great values in what is considered by national magazines to be the best small town to visit and by Sunset Magazine the 3rd best town to live in. This town is also ranked the best place to retire in Washington State.

recent Reviews of my work as an agent

Buyers Agent for Single Family home in 2016 for approximately $825K in Sequim, WA.

5 diamonds, Michelin 3rd star, 10 out of 10... However you want to describe the best, I would dare say they need to be compared to Brian in the real estate agent world. I've purchased several houses and sold several houses, and his service was at another level. He was always available, used new technology, was spot on when pricing, and was always a pleasure to talk to. I live in Seattle, almost 2 hours away from the Port Townsend area, but felt like I was "there" every day to the options. Brian was able to use a drone for high-def pictures and took walkthrough videos for me which was priceless in assessing options. He sealed the deal when on closing day, my lending bank had dragged their feet...., he drove over 4 hours round trip to pick up and drop off the papers needed to close in time. I can honestly say he goes the extra mile. I can recommend him without reservation

We had prior experience working with Brian because he sold our home. Now, we're in the position of purchasing our dream home and Brian helped to make that dream a reality! He remained patient with us and was quick to respond to all of our questions during the entire process; even off-the-wall questions at odd hours of the day. He helped negotiate and advocate for us during the purchase of our house - we got a killer deal! I'm so happy; we definitely made the right decision with choosing Brian as our business partner. He was able to convert an experience that is often emotional and frustrating, into something fun and enjoyable. If we weren't moving into our dream home, I'd definitely be hiring him again as my agent. He has great integrity and never made us feel pressured or rushed. He's amazing and by far the best agent around!

Buyers Agent for single family home on Sandstone Lane Port Townsend
After several years of looking for a home and dealing with 3 or 4 Realtors in Port Townsend that were less than satisfactory. The house I was particularly interested in sold that same day. The only other house I had any real interest in exceeded my budget, but Brian indicated he thought I could get the property within my budget (the top of which was 10% below the asking price). Brian was true to his promise. I found Brian willing to do whatever was necessary and to be very responsive to my questions and needs (which were numerous and far-ranging) at all time. I am very glad I chose Brian over other realtors. I would not hesitate to recommend Brian or to use him again.

Listing Agent for single family home Cape George Port Townsend
I have been working with Brian to sell one of my rental properties. He has done very impressive work and has gone above and beyond any expectation, I could possibly have. I can't say enough positive things about Brian and as soon as I get ready to sell another home in his area, he will be my first call.

Buyers Agent for home in Fort Warden Port Townsend
Brian was absolutely awesome!! He genuinely cares about finding the property that you want and helping you purchase it. He gives sound, fair, and valuable opinions. When Brian helped my wife and I purchase our home in Port Townsend, he went above and far beyond all expectations. We lived in CA at the time and was very responsive through email as well as over the phone. He had many homes to recommend and he'd go and record a walk through of the home for us to view to help make decisions on which homes we wanted to see in person when we visited. Once we chose our home, he gave good advice on our offering price, which was accepted. He was very responsive and helpful through the entire escrow process, helping to put us in contact with different people for different items and answer all questions we had. I highly recommend Brian for anyone looking to purchase a home in Port Townsend and the surrounding area, either first time home buyers, people moving into the area, as well as for longtime residents. He's awesome!!

Brian was terrific. He kept us well informed during the entire process. We received an offer for the full asking price within 2 weeks of listing the home, which closed shortly after that. We couldn't have been happier.

Buyers Agent for home in uptown Port Townsend

Brian helped me buy a house in the historic district of Port Townsend. The house is located in a good area but needs quite a bit of work. Before buying the house I wanted to get an idea of what it would cost to fix it up. Brian helped me find and meet with contractors on site to talk about remodel  options and cost. This helped me gain confidence in the decision to buy. Brian did other things for me that I think were beyond the call of duty. For example, he went down to the building department and searched the city records for permits. He found one that was taken out 8 years ago that was never signed off. As a consequence there was no legal occupancy permit for the house. Brian then arranged to have the chief building inspector meet me on site. I discussed the outstanding issues with the building inspector and this also helped me gain confidence to buy. On one particular day Brian made himself available on site for nearly 5 hours while I met with various contractors and inspectors to evaluate the house. I think a lot of realtors, given the choice between making a sale and fudging the facts and losing a sale and staying honest, would opt for the former. I never got that sense from Brian and I think in the final analysis integrity is his most important quality. I would recommend Brian and plan on using him again.
